Hello fellow traveler!
Welcome to Hit the Road in the Pacific Northwest! We are James and Chantelle King. We call the Tri-Cities in Southeast Washington home.
When we became empty nesters we began roaming the roads of the Pacific Northwest on day trips and weekend excursions. We prefer to have a detailed plan of what we’re doing and where we’re going before we leave home and sometimes doing the research and planning our itinerary requires hours of effort—and sometimes planned activities aren’t what we expected. It’s not that we don’t enjoy it but, hey, what if an itinerary were already researched and planned—and experienced by the planner so that we could place our trust in it? That’s our goal—research and plan itineraries, then hit the road to experience our planned adventures so that we can share them with other travelers.
A note about the Pacific Northwest: we are applying the broader definition for the Pacific Northwest to include Western Montana, the Northwestern strip of Wyoming, the northern edge of California, and the strip along the southern border of Canada.
